Hi

I was just wondering I got a 60 day family extension 2 days before the 31st of July amnesty was announced, I’m aware you can’t do 2 Sixty day extensions in a row.

But was wondering does having the amnesty visa permit me to day another 60 day if the decision we are waiting on doesn’t go the way I hope.

It was just bad luck I done my current 60 day on due date still had another 7 days of first amnesty left but thought would do the right thing , if waited a day would still have the original 60 day up my sleeve .

Thanks for any advice Paul

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether the amnesty visa allows for another 60-day extension after already using one 60-day family extension. A comment indicated that only one 60-day extension is allowed per entry, suggesting the user may have exhausted their options.

nope, you get ONE 60 day extension per entry <- and seeing as if you're still here you haven't left the country since at least March that means you used the one you were allowed. :/

All you can do is sit tight, wait it out and see what they tell amnesty holders to do.
