With the new 60 day entry on arrival, are you able to extend this at all once in Thailand as you used to be able to with the old 30 day Visa's? If so do they give you another 60 days or is it 30 days? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend the new 60-day visa on arrival for an additional 30 days while in Thailand. The application for the extension can typically be made when you have 45 days or less remaining on your initial 60 days, and the fee for the extension is around 1900 THB.

30 days

In Phuket you can apply once you have 45 days or less on your first 60 days

So have to be in Thailand at least 15 days before you can extend In other offices can be different
