Hi. If my 30 days visa on arrival will finish this Saturday (may 13th) and I just find out the immigration office close tomorrow and no time to go today and I want to extend the visa in another 30 days , can I go on Monday to extend the visa? Or they won't let me?

Make no plans for Monday 15th May, it could be very busy at Immigration. For next time you can go as early as 15 days before the final date to apply for Extension of Stay. Do not wait till the last moment.

, in Bangkok you can apply for ANY extension when you have 45 days or less left on your admitted until stamp.

I know people who've flown in on a 30 day visa exempt entry and went to the immigration office the next day to buy a 30 day extension. :O

Other offices are different though.. :/

You apply for an Extension of Stay, so they will give you a new stamp with a date 30 days later than your admitted to stay date.

Yes you can, IF your admitted until stamp expires on a day that the thai immigration offices are closed AND you go the very next business day you will NOT be charged for overstay, but you might get the overstay stamp in your passport anyway but it will say "fine waived due to closure".

, please use the word "visa exempt", visa on arrival is something different and yes you will get 30days extension, on Monday without extra fine.
