Can I enter to Thailand while my Non-O visa is pending approval?
Thank you for your help.
Answer summary
The question discusses whether one can enter Thailand while their Non-O visa application is still pending. Responses vary, indicating that entry is possible under certain conditions, such as using a visa exemption or a visa on arrival. However, entering Thailand while the visa is pending may complicate the approval process, as the embassy may require attendance for an interview or additional documentation. It's generally advised to remain in the jurisdiction of the consulate until the application is resolved.

you can enter Thailand visa-exempt and if your application got approved, you just need to exit Thailand and activate that 90-days retirement Non-Imm-O Visa when you enter
you surely CAN. But without a visa, you will be stamped in on a "visa-exempt" entry. If you are acitizen of country not allowed to use the visa-exemption, you would need to buy a 15-days stay permit for 2000 BAHT
You can enter but once your Non o Visa is approved you have to exit , if you don't like to go back your own country, you may go out close by countries and come in to be stamped at Airport
Yes you can but you risk having your application rejected if the Embassy asks you to attend an interview or provide a copy of every page in your passport
Yes you can if you qualify for visa exemption on arrival but once you receive your visa you’d have to border bounce to get it stamped in your passport think this is correct
