Can I Do a Visa Run to Cambodia from Thailand During COVID-19 Restrictions?

Here on an METV which runs out on the 23rd March. Visa run booked on the 22nd in order to get the last two months. UK passport and not been there since November. Visa run company are telling me that due to Clovid I cannot go out to Cambodia and back in? Anyone heard the same

There is nothing official that these borders are closed for UK passport holders.
