Hi Guys

Is it possible to be turned away with METV?

I am just paranoid because I had a long history in the country on several covid extensions.

I left last September and this is the first time I am back.

I appreciate your help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The concern revolves around the possibility of being denied entry to Thailand with a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa). While having a valid tourist visa does not guarantee entry, typically travelers are allowed entry if they meet the requirements. It's crucial to be prepared with documentation, such as proof of departure from Thailand within 60 days, as entry is ultimately at the discretion of the immigration officer.

if you're paranoid, and if entering is of high importance, a vip airport service maybe helpful.

Are you already in Thailand ?

Did you enter Thailand with the METV multiple entry tourist visa ?

What was the date the METV multiple entry tourist visa was issued?

What is your passport nation?

Gigi Berardiyou will be fine. Have proof of your flying out of Thailand within the first 60 days, as Tod Daniels suggested.

Safe travels ✈️

You say you've been out of Thailand since Sept so that's comin' up on 9 months, you should be okay

BUT with that being said, it is indeed possible to be turned away (denied entry) holding a valid tourist visa to thailand

Whether you get in or not is 100% in the hands of the person you're standing in front of at passport control when you stamp in

The fact you're holding a visa doesn't mean you get in, just that if they let you in they have to give you the days that visa allows you to enter on.

I'd say have proof you're flying out of thailand in 60 days (as if they're going to hassle you that's what they'll ask for first) and hope for the best.
