Yes, it is currently possible to drive from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, though travelers should be prepared for potential checkpoints and temperature screenings along the way. There are no specific travel restrictions for driving within Thailand, except a curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM. However, quarantine measures may apply for certain travelers depending on their recent locations.

Can, no problem

Yes you can drive with no problem. Only from 10pm to 5am, during the curfew, driving isn't permitted with just very few exceptions. Be prepared to maybe find checkpoints on your way, be questioned - just few general questions- and temp screened. Checkpoints are totally random. I was recently drove to Udon Thani from Bkk, just one checkpoint found on my way back.

I have a sticker on my passport now with healthy Buriram on it. Same gf on I'd card. Big C was stopping people without it going in it today. Not sure how that plays out. I think you have to register locally in Chang Mai and if 14 days you are clear you get it.

We don't have that here, it's specific to Buriram. Different provinces are handling this differently. Chiang Mai wants you to do 14 day quarantine (can be done at home if a Thai signs for you) if coming from a high risk province but enforcement seems to be spotty.

Can I go back to USA?

Wrong. You can't accurately define repatriation flights. You have a non sequitur from that fault Your education is lacking the requisite logic courses, debate or research methods course to accurately present your pseudo argument. If you can't adroitly define terms best for you not to champion argumentum ad ignorantiam
Christophe **********
You have demonstrated a low IQ. You continue to show others you have no damn idea what a repatriation flight is. Now take your ultracrepidarian self to talk to the French or Germans in Cambodia at they had repatriation flights. So the only question remaining is your cognitive impairment genetic or from trauma?
Christophe **********
You clearly have no idea what repatriation flight means.

Yes. Be prepared for plenty of check points of course.
I did mine via Thai post. That was with the US Embassy in BKK. Not sure where you are from but if a yank it’s really easy. I did it all from the village and it took less than 2 weeks from when it left my hand until I had it back here.
