TLDR : Answer Summary
To enter Phuket from Bangkok by road, it is essential to have proof of residence in Phuket, a negative COVID-19 test, and evidence of full vaccination. Currently, only bona fide residents can enter, and there's uncertainty about changes to these rules post-August 31. It's advised to stay updated on announcements regarding entry regulations and to ensure all necessary documentation is on hand, including a QR code from the official travel registration site.

There us a website where you regiister your trip. It generates a QR code which you make a screenshot of. If you are stopped you show the screenshot.

Ron van den Heever. That website is not worth a pinch of salt. The checkpoint officers have zero interest in it. At Phuket, the very few who are permitted to enter must show proof of vaccination, proof of residence, and covid test certificate.

This is the only official way I know of to register trips. What it means or not means is not for me to decide. Your vaccination status is irrelevant for travelling by road at present, as very few people have been fully vaccinated.

Roren Stowell. Trust me it means absolutely nothing. It was intended to link in to to the Mor Chana app but didn't get that far. You'd be better registering your vaccination status on the app as they will almost certainly be requesting that

There's probably no straight answer because there has been no announcement yet if the order (which expires August 31) will be extended, which allows only bona-fide residents entry into Phuket domestically. I would guess there will be an announcement in the next two days if vaccinated people will be permitted to enter from Wednesday

You can't enter phuket domestically unless you own property in phuket, have been vaccinated, and have a negative covid test.

Roren Stowell. The order specifically calls for house book and/or work permit. Realistically anyone can complete a lease form - it means nothing
