I have a non-o retirement visa expires June 15. My trip to the Uk needs to be delayed. Can I do a basic Mae sa visa run and get a 30 day on entry just to fill the gap. Seams like an obvious yes but I always check theses days. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a Non-O retirement visa expiring on June 15, inquired about the possibility of doing a Mae Sai visa run to obtain a 30-day Visa Exempt Entry stamp to cover a delay in travel. Responses confirmed that the user can exit Thailand and re-enter on the same day to receive the entry stamp, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office for a fee. It was cautioned that obtaining a new Non-O visa would require starting the application process over, depending on the user's circumstances.

You say you now have a Non O Visa for retirement. You are aware that you will have to start all over to seek another Non O as retired.
I was told spit proof would be fine. so I reduced my dead thb balance by half but it is no longer accepted as embassies wont verify. So When I get to UK I will get non-O 90 day and come back and extend for 1y retirement again. It is what it is.
SADLY it's Up to YOUR Local Thai immigration office IF they will ALLOW you to use the combination method of getting the second year extension of stay as retired. Suggest you ask them.

Yes you can LEAVE THAILAND without a re-entry permit and REENTER same day if you like and will get a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry stamp. That can be extended for another 30 days at your local Thai immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.
