I’m considering to apply for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) from Singapore and trying to figure out the Digital Nomad vs Soft Power routes.
For the Digital Nomad track—does anyone know if you *have* to have a registered business, or can freelancers get by with just a portfolio? Also, if you have your own company, does your own company letter work for the “letter from company” thing?
And for Soft Power—are there specific companies or activities you have to be with? Any minimum time you need to do them?
Would love to hear how it worked for you or what you’ve heard. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the requirements for the Digital Nomad and Soft Power routes for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) from Thailand, specifically asking whether freelancers need to register a business and how to provide documentation, as well as what specific companies or activities are needed for the Soft Power track.
For the Digital Nomad track, please refer to the requirements stated in the RTE website. You don't necessarily need to be the owner of the business. You can be a freelancer but get one of your clients to write a letter of employment and provide the ACRA business registration
