Hello all, has anyone done the 60 day covid extension in Phuket Patong Immigration recently? I have only done in Bangkok successfully, but may be in Phuket for next extension soon. They aren't giving under consideration 30 days there are they? Thanks for any insight :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the process of applying for a 60-day COVID extension at the Patong Immigration office in Phuket. Users confirm that as long as the applicant has a registered address in Phuket, they should be able to apply. The deadline for application is August 24th, and if the application goes under consideration, the applicant must return to the same office on a specified date to finalize the process. It's important to have TM30 registration in Phuket for the application.

On that note, we are done. Good luck to OP.

Yes you will go under consideration in Phuket and have to return on the date specified.

As already mentioned MUST be tm30 registered in Phuket.

I have placed the TOPIC

COVID extension on your post.

CLICK on it and all posts about it will pop up to read.

Read the posts from Phuket.

And IF you are approved for the COVID extension...

Expect to get the under consideration stamp in your passport and you are to return to the same immigration office. As instructed... to close it out...

Last day to apply for the COVID extension is August 24th...

Here is the common found requirements for it... Check with Phuket for their requirements.

As long as you can use an address showing you're staying in Phuket you shouldn't have any issue applying for another covid extension (aside from the normal issues people are running into now with the program only running another month)

As far as whether they are or aren't doing under consideration stamps, that I couldn't say and we'll have to wait for a phuket person to weigh in.

Remember though if they are doing u/c stamps first you have to go back to that office to 'close the loop' and get the rest of the covid extension inked in
