Hi, few questions, the process at CW immigration do you have to wait at the seats outside "division 1" for a ticket before you can go in? And I'm assuming once you have the ticket you go in and wait for ticket no to be called?

I'm applying for 60 day COVID extension so assume I can get a copy of the TM30 from my hotel?

(move to monthly Airbnb on Friday)

Would it be quicker for me to have all the documentation TM7 TM30 photocopys etc ready before I go to CW? I don't want to wait, speak with someone and have to go away fill in the form just to wait in the queue again, can it be done in 1 go?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 60-day COVID extension at the Changwattana immigration office, you need to wait outside 'division 1' for a ticket. After obtaining the ticket, you'll wait for your number to be called. It's advisable to gather all necessary documentation, including the TM30 (which can be obtained from your hotel), and photocopies of your passport and visa. Being prepared with all forms may help expedite the process, allowing you to complete everything in one visit instead of needing to return after filling out forms.

The expiration date of the Tourist Visa won't matter, it's the expiration date of your "admitted to" stamp. What's that expiration date.

Ok, only need to stay till 16th of December so it would be easier just to get the 60 days to save another visit, suppose I'll find out when I get there

You should be able to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism, and then on November 25, apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COIVD-19. That would let you stay until January 24, 2022

Have you already obtained the 30 days extension which you are entitled to?

If not Thai immigration may require you to use that 30 days extension first instead of granting you a COVID 60 days extension.

Make sure you have a signed contract with the AirBnB host. Technically, daily rentals are illegal for AirBnBs.

Yes! The forms for the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 for Bangkok can be found in the files section of the group.

>can it be done in 1 go?

You should be able to. For the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, you will need the following:

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. [Might not be asked, bring it just in case] A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and want to use their special forms)

4. 2x passport pictures

5. 1,900 THB.

Remember, if you entered on a visa exempt, you would go to Muang Thon Thani counter K. If you entered on a tourist visa or other visa, you'd go to Changwattana.
