Can I apply for an Ed-Visa if I live 2.5 hours away from my school in Thailand?

Applying for Ed-Visa. If I am living in a town different than where the school is located( in the same province but 2.5 hours land travel distance) is that gonna be fine if my TM30 holds address of this place?

Oh come on, there is a "university" in Chiangmai that gives out ed visa to "students" everywhere in the country. Just find the right agent.
