Can I apply for an amnesty visa after receiving a Thailand immigration stamp and then switch to a 60-day visa?
Good day, I just received my passport back and it has the below stamp. Can I go through to the SA embassy tomorrow to get a letter for amnesty, go through to Immigration to apply for amnesty visa till the end of November and then apply for a 60 day visa afterwards? Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a cancellation of extension stamp due to leaving employment (ออกจากงาน) and their original extension was good until the 10 June 2021.

I spoke to the embassy a couple weeks ago about getting an amnesty letter and they told me that they are not issuing the letters anymore because SA's borders are open.

OPJust a quick update. I went to the SA embassy and they are NOT issuing a letter as SA borders are open. However they very kindly gave me a letter asking immigration to give me assistance. I went through to immigration and it took me 8 hours in the queue to get an under consideration stamp for 60 days. I have to go back on the 18th. All in all twas a long day but I'm happy 🤗

I got an email saying they’ve stopped issuing but they will issue if requested by the immigration 🤷🏻♀️ so let me know what they say and how it goes at immigration ☺️Amber ******

some people are taking in the email saying the embassy doesn't issue it and using that along with the form that has the box you check saying you can't get the embassy letter.

That is a cancel an extension based on employment stamp and they gave you until Nov 6..
SO get the letter (if you can) and then go back to that section and apply for a 60 day extension) on or BEFORE Nov 6.
