Hi everyone!

With the workcation option, do you need to be already working to get the DTV or is it possible to get the DTV while not currently in work and start a remote business afterwards?

Many thanks

Answer summary

The DTV workcation visa is intended for individuals who are already employed. Applicants likely need to demonstrate proof of ongoing employment to qualify. While there may be attempts to apply without a current job, it could be challenging to provide the required evidence.

I think you'll have a hard time providing the evidence of a job which you don't have. But give it a shot, God loves a trier.

If you're aiming to give helpful answers for less knowledgeable people than a little less on the sarcasm and a little more on the straightforwardness would be appreciated

If you're serious than apply via soft power and then start your job.
