Can existing visa applications on the thaievisa platform block a new visa application in another category?

I need your help if existing submitted visa applications in the thaievisa platform block the submission of a new visa of another category? Does anyone have experience with that?

Situation: the main DTV application got rejected. Because of the recent change of the regulations the dependents were applied before the main application has been approved to apply under the former regulations. The two dependent visa are now status request documents (for the approved main DTV) which will not come because it got rejected.

Now we would like to apply for a single entry tourist visa for all of us because accommodation, Muay Thay course etc. is all booked already. I wonder if these existing visa applications would block a new visa application? I don't see a possibility in the system to cancel these applications. Also we're running out of time with our stay in Vietnam for the application soon. So not too much time to have another unsuccessful attempt with the application.

If anyone has been in the same situation I'd appreciate your recommendations.

Seriously?🙄 everyone knows that you cannot apply as a dependent before the main DTV holder gets approved exactly because he might get rejected. The answer is no, you cannot apply for tourist visa until everyone gets their DTV application rejected. Actually yes, you can apply, pay the fee and if it gets approved, that’s another question

Hi, you can apply for another visa even with one pending.

However, I would just upload a letter explain explaining exactly what you just wrote in this post where they are asking for the main DTV visa. They can issue a single entry Visa instead of the DTV and hopefully you can save on the fees.
