Can I leave Indonesia and return to Thailand while my DTV visa application is pending?

Hello! Need help for DTV visa

I’m currently waiting for my DTV visa application for Thailand to be approved.

Right now, I’m in Indonesia, but my 30-day stay permit is about to expire.

As a Philippine passport holder, I was told that Indonesia doesn’t offer an extension for my current stay, and the overstay penalty is 1 million IDR per day.

My question is:

Can I go back to Thailand under the visa exemption/visa-free entry while my DTV application is still pending? Will it affect my application in any way?

Alternatively, can I travel to another country in Asia while waiting for the DTV approval, or do I need to remain in Indonesia until a decision is made?

Has anyone been in a similar situation recently? I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
