Hi there. My husband is applying for DTV and I’m applying as spouse. Just a quick question, on the E-visa forms, it says on my application to attach his DTV visa but he doesn’t have it yet so I can’t attach it. Any ideas? Will a copy of his passport do? Any help, much appreciated. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A spouse applying for a visa dependent on her husband's DTV application should wait until he receives his DTV visa before submitting her application. Alternatively, some users suggest that applying jointly might allow her to provide proof of sufficient funds without needing to attach the DTV visa.

My husband and I applied at the same time, only needed money in main applicants account.

what proof did you attach when it said “copy of DTV visa” on the spouses application if the main applicant hadn’t been granted the DTV yet?

You need to wait till your husband has his DTV . Only then you can apply as a dependent.

is that right ?. When I applied for my DTV, the application system seemed to allow more than 1 application, so I assumed it would be possible to apply for mine and wife's together.
