My current work visa expires August 20th. Is it possible to apply for a new job, say mid September, still during the amnesty period and get a new work visa and permit without having to exit the country?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the possibility of applying for a new work visa during the amnesty period, after their current work visa expires on August 20th, and whether they can do this without exiting Thailand. A commenter advises that this situation is complex and suggests consulting with the local immigration office for accurate information, as policies may vary across different offices.

I would say no, you're not gonna be able to pull it off BUT that is between you, your new employer and the immigration office you deal with.

It's the ONLY place that will give you the answers you're wanting.

There are over 70 immigration offices in the country and each seems to do their own thing. Ask at the immigration office where you're going to apply for the Non-B to see what their policy is
