Can I obtain a new non-B work visa in Thailand through a new employer without leaving the country during an amnesty situation?

Good evening everyone I have a question for you guys. But let's start with a little bit more of a backstory

So, I changed employers. I changed employers on the 01/07/2020, 15 days before my old work permit expired that was on the 15/07/2020 so, I'm in amnesty situation now.

So my question is.

is it possible for me to get a new non b working via my new employer without leaving the country?

this is a bit of a gray area for me and I'm not sure what's going on they are telling me don't worry as I do have an appointment for Friday at my local immigration office and my employer has insured me that I shouldn't have to worry but he did tell me considering that my visa is not a priority case at the moment there is a chance that I could give me this stamp called consideration stamp.

So another question to the question that I have above is,

has anyone changed employers gotten a new non b and extension stamp during this time period without leaving the country?

just something I forgot to say was I change provinces so I know within provinces they can just change it over and it makes it so much easier but I went from one province to another.

any positive news or feedback or any success stories would be appreciated basically just to calm their nerves this side.

Thank you so much guys, it is much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has recently changed employers in Thailand and is now in an amnesty situation, as they did so just before their old work permit expired. They are inquiring whether it's possible to obtain a new non-B work visa without leaving the country and if others have successfully navigated this situation. A commenter responds positively, suggesting it is indeed possible if the new employer takes the necessary steps.

Yes, it should be possible provided that your employer does the ground work for you. You did well to get a new employer before your work permit expired. Good luck!!
