Can I Apply for a New Non-B Visa in July if My Current One Expires in May?

Hello, and sorry if someone already asked this question. My non-B visa expires mid-May and I am not sure if I need to start working on the application for my next non-B visa or if I can do it in July. Do you know if non-B visas get an extension until July like tourists?

Is there any number I can call to get the correct information? I work in Pathum Thani.

Thanks in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns about applying for the next non-B visa before the current one expires, with inquiries about possible extensions due to the amnesty. Responses indicate that unlike tourists, non-B visas typically do not receive automatic extensions and emphasize the need to apply for the one-year extension as usual. The user is advised to seek clarity to avoid overstaying.

please read and not change it in an Extension of Stay without payment or the need to meet a requirements.

According your stamp you need to leave the country, as you can not leave at the moment, you will not get fined for overstay until you can leave the country or until maximum 31 July 2020.

If you have a valid stay at the moment and you wish to stay longer in Thailand due to retirement, marriage, work etc you need to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay as usual.

Nothing is known what will happen after 31 July and how Immigration will see the gap in time. Will this period be seen as a free extension for all or as your last allowed day to stay is in the past you can not use your old stay to apply for a new Extension of Stay. Is it worth the gamble ? We say NO and advice you to apply for your 1 year Extension of Stay as usual. Good luck with your choice.

same here, my non-b visa WILL expire on 31th May and I presume that it's not gonna be extended automatically but anyway still confused what exactly the phrase "visa have expired SINCE 26 March" means in their reality.... or somewhere "visa had expired after 26 March"

you apply for an extension just like normal, you are NOT covered by the amnesty at all.

If I read this clearly, non-B visas expiring in May are not covered "at all" by the blanket visa amnesty announced?

Or do you mean that they are not covered by the new amnesty measures announced because the law has not been passed yet?
