Hi, I have a question on visa stamp for a Non-B visa.
I have a valid work permit and valid visa. Normally every 90 days I will make a border run and update the visa stamp for the next 90 days.
My current stamp runs out on 25 May. I have been told I do not need to do anything until 31st July. Someone went to immigration in Pattaya and told me this.
Can someone confirm this please?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they need to update their Non-B visa stamp, which expires on May 25, and has been informed that nothing needs to be done until July 31. Responses indicate that if the user does not intend to work further, they could go on amnesty. However, for continued employment, an extension of stay might be necessary, depending on individual circumstances and immigration office requirements. Users are advised to follow updates regarding amnesty and consult their local immigration office for specific requirements.

Time to close as people start asking different questions, but
IF you decide to stay inside Thailand and wait until the new announcement of how this so called amnesty works out, follow the news and make sure to be updated on time and do as asked in the announcement to come.
Just as advice to anybody: If you like to know the requirements of the Extension of Stay based on being employed in Thailand, visit your local Immigration Office. I have never seen that opening hours are an requirement, but I know that every body knows the requirements the best, until they have list from Immigration in hand.
Hi not sure if this is what is being asked, I have a ep and non b went to phuket I friday and did my first 90day reporting in less that 5 mins hope it helps
Doesn't apply to the OP. It sounds like you have a one year extension of stay based on employment which requires doing a 90 day report every 90 days you are in Thailand. This is different then the OP, who has a multiple entry Non-B visa and gets a 90 day stamp to stay in Thailand every 90 days.
Hmm, I might be wrong, but what I heard is if your visa and wp are still valid and the borders are still closed when your stamp expires, you can go on the amnesty untill the borders open up again and then do your border bounce. So you can keep working.
Not every company meets the requirements to apply for an extension of stay.
(And don't say this is illegal and a loophole etc again.
My company can't go for extension of stay because it's not open all year round. Nothing illegal about that, at least that's what my accountant says.)
I am in the same situation (stamp expires on the 27th of May) so I'm also interested in this topic.
> you can go on the amnesty untill the borders open up again and then do your border bounce
That's correct. I understand the amnesty is like an overstay stamp, but with all fees and punishment waived. Being on overstay does not give a person the right to work, and I know some offices do not allow "amnesty time" to be used as "seasoning" time (since the amnesty is designed for people who can't return home).

*IF* you do not want to work further, there is nothing more you need to do, you will go on amnesty. If you want to work more, you’ll have to get an extension of stay based on employment which is valid for one year. Each immigration office has their own requirements, contact them and ask for the handouts.
