I came into Thailand this time on a tourist visa, Internet was to slow on our ship to get my marriage visa done.

My question is can I apply for a marriage visa now when I am here.

My guess is because I have a visa already cannot start a new one until it ends.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a marriage visa while in Thailand on a tourist visa, but you need to have between 14 to 21 days left on your current stamp for the application to be processed. It's recommended to apply for a 60-day extension if your tourist visa is running out, and you will need to meet specific requirements such as having a minimum of 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account to qualify for the marriage visa.

Yes you can and actually you need between 14-21 days left on your stamp for them to allow you to apply because there will be an under consideration period where they may want to come see your house together and interview your neighbors etc.
