Can I apply for a DTV in the UK and leave the country before my application is processed?
Applying for a work remotely dtv from London. I’d like to apply in person when in the uk and then go out of the country. If I have no call for an interview, and I get visa online, I don’t have to come back, as long as I get that dtv before I actually enter Thailand? Anything I should be worried about apart form a potential interview? Thanks.

You can't apply in person anywhere, all applications are made online but you must be in the jurisdiction of the consulate you wish to apply through, and must remain in their jurisdiction until the visa process completes. If you leave during the process there's a high chance your application will be rejected, or visa may revoked when trying to enter Thailand
