Why was my DTV visa application rejected in Hanoi despite comprehensive documentation?

Rejected: May 29th at 5pm
7 working days, no requests for extra documents. I sent wise bank statements from past 3 months + statements from another bank (combined over 500k thb for entire period); proof of freelance status in italy (original and self translated, plus instructions on how to check status online from official government website), cv, portfolio with invoices matching bank statements, list of clients showing they are all outside thailand, rental lease in hanoi, boarding pass, photo of al passport pages with stamps. Over 60 pages total, each document with cover letter, table of contents and signature.
No idea what went wrong. I thought Hanoi would be easier (I didn't just come here to apply, I have lived here for 3 years...) and I guess if i try again it will be from somewhere else.

Rental lease for at least 7 months? What are people talking about? Doesn’t make any sense. Nothing like this mentioned in the legal texts pertaining to the DTV. The newest made up requirement by „creative“ embassies. If they want to increase requirements for the DTV they should amend the legal texts and publish it.

I don’t think wise qualifies as a bank, and you also said “+ statements from another bank” to suggest that it combines to have over 500k THB. As I understand it, you need over 500k baht in a SINGLE bank account and not wise, and ideally 6 months of history on it.
