Update, I got the 60 days covid extension in less than 1 hour.
Hi.
I'm here on a touristvisa and had my extension of stay 30days last friday and now I'm thinking about trying to get the Covid extension tomorrow before (if) they cancel it.
So I have 3 weeks left on my visa, might that be a problem when applying for covid extension at Udon thani Immigration office?
Best regards
Henrik

TLDR : Answer Summary
Henrik successfully applied for a 60-day Covid extension on his tourist visa in under an hour after initially seeking advice about the potential issues of applying with three weeks left on his visa. Other commenters confirmed that it is generally acceptable to apply for an extension when you have between 30 to 45 days remaining on your current visa, emphasizing the need to bring an address registration from your landlord.
No problem applying for the extension, typically when you have 30-45 days or less on your current permission to stay you can apply.

I was today to make covid visa extension and they were saying if you have valid visa below 45 days then yes you can make extension . Remember to bring adress registration with you from landlord cause without it you canโt make covid extension. I am talking about how it looks in Phuket but I think everywhere is the same
thank you, I have the tm30 stapled in my passport and my girlfriend who I lived with when I stay in Thailand always bring her house book so that will be fine, thank you for your reply โบ๏ธ๐๐ผ
