TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of applying for a COVID extension on July 31, given that their 30-day extension expires on August 14. A response indicated that currently, there is no option to apply after July 25, 2022, and while there's a chance of an extension being allowed, it's unlikely due to lifted restrictions for entering Thailand.

Currently no. Last day to apply is July 25th. That may be extended but looking unlikely now that most restrictions to enter Thailand have been lifted.

just beware that if they give you the covid visa, it will start the day you apply and you'll lose those 20ish days.

If previous times are anything to go by your immigration office may be swamped on the 25th with people seizing their last chance to get one. Might want to loose a couple of days and go earlier.

Yes you could. Not a given as it’s up to immigration to approve.
