My work permit and working visa will be canceled by 31st Dec (application submitted by Dec 14th). Currently my wife long stay Visa is attached to mine. Can we both apply for the visa amnesty (CoVid Visa)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if both they and their wife can apply for the COVID Visa (visa amnesty) after their work permit and visa are set to be canceled by the end of December. A commenter suggests that they should first cancel their current extensions and then immediately apply for a 60-day extension due to COVID travel restrictions.

What you would do is cancel yours and your wifes extension of stay then immediately apply for a 60 day unable to travel due to covid extension.
IF your embassy issues the unable to travel due to covid letter get it, if they don't print the screen grab of their website saying they don't issue it or the email they sent you saying they don't issue it
, another quick question. Can we apply the 60 days extension right after the visa termination application submitted(Dec 15th), or we need to wait until effective date (Dec 31st)? Thanks
You CAN apply 60days extension being unable to travel due to Covid-19 situation immediately after you apply to cancel your current extension. Just be aware that some immigration offices give you an extension starting counting 60 days the day of application, some other immigration offices give you an extension ADDing 60 days to your current extension. Check with your local immigration office about their policy, then decide when you want to apply.
