I am currently on a volunteer visa which expires on 7 Feb, is it possible to switch to the 60 day covid visa?

Answer summary

The user is inquiring about the possibility of switching from a volunteer visa to a 60-day Covid visa before the volunteer visa expires on February 7. Comments suggest that applying for the Covid extension is possible if certain conditions are met, such as obtaining a termination letter from the volunteer organization and canceling the work permit before January 25. Additionally, the Covid extension is not guaranteed, and users are advised to consult detailed instructions linked in the comments.

You may apply for a Covid extension once you get the termination letter from your volunteer organization and cancel your work permit and current extension based on volunteering officially on or before 25 Jan.

The covid extension is not a guaranteed one, check this post and prepare yourself in advance.
