We are British citizens but live in Dubai (have done for a year) and have emirates ID's here. My husband is planning to apply for his DTV from Dubai and then me and our children apply as dependents. Does anyone know if Emirates ID's counts for the new proof of residency where applying rule?  The wording says PERMANENT residency so unsure if emirates ID will suffice. Thank you ☺️

Just a small tip that’s not relevant to your question but I think it’s good for you to know - The proof of 500k THB MUST be in Dubai bank account only. I had experience applying it for the client and he ended up getting rejected even though he has more than 500k THB. and went for the interview to explain the situation 🥲

Capybaraaa555, do you mean that the 500k THB equivalent must be in a bank from the same country as the applicant's place of residence/application? Or is it only for Dubai applications?

Capybaraaa555 thank you, yes we moved into a Dubai bank account specifically for this which is why we aren't applying just yet as it needs to be there for 3 months 🙏

Yes that will be sufficient - you can also upload your Ejari as proof of residency that’s what I did for my application from Dubai xx

Maybe but everyone including dependants over the age of 16 might need police clearance certificates
