Can both parents obtain dependent visas in Thailand when one child gets a student visa?

In Thailand, generally, when a child receives a student visa (O or ED visa), only one parent is eligible for a dependent visa. The other parent cannot piggyback off the first parent's dependent visa based solely on marriage, as each child corresponds to one visa/extension. Parents cannot submit two applications for one child’s visa; thus, only one parent can apply as a dependent.
