Hello!

Anyone here on a education visa but has a dependant child? I'm wondering how this can work, because without visa I'm sure our travel insurance would be invalid 🙏 is there a visa available for child like this??  Thank you 🙏🙏

The child can get her own Non Immigrant ED visa if it goes to school in Thailand or the Non Immigrant O visa as dependent and later the Extension of Stay based on 2.11 In the case of being a family member

of an alien who has been permitted a

temporary stay in the Kingdom for study

in an educational institution according to

Clauses 2.8 or 2.9 hereof (applicable only

to parents, spouse, children, adopted

children, or spouse’s children):

it differs and depending in which country you are going to apply but it is around the 2.000 Thb for a Single entry visa

you can only apply at a Thai Consulate, your child at the moment does not have a valid stay left for a conversion into a visa
