Greetings and thank you for all the recent help you have been giving me. I would like to know if one adult in a family of 3 (including a child) attains an ED visa for language or Muay Thai, can a spouse and child be sponsored as well?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A family member can only receive an extension if the main visa holder is enrolled in a legitimate degree program at a university. If the adult holds an ED visa for language or Muay Thai studies at a private institution, the spouse cannot obtain a visa extension that aligns with the main visa holder.

If you are enrolled in a real honest to goodness university for a degree course your spouse can get a non-O (from a thai consulate in another country) and then get an extension matching yours. BUT as far as I know IF you are studying at a private school (language, personal defense, muay thai, etc) your spouse cannot get an extension that matches yours
