If traveled here to find work as a teacher , and has a VOA that has already been extended the first time would they look at this individual's situation differently? This person has no physical home anymore, sold all their possessions, and now cannot find work until July because of COVID shutting schools til July. Will the immigration office make any exception to this case in extending this individual's visa, or do they just blanket everyone under tourist visas as tourists? I ask for a friend.... Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual's situation of pursuing work as a teacher in Thailand may not warrant special consideration from immigration, as they are currently viewed as a tourist without employment. The standard practice is to categorize individuals on tourist visas uniformly, regardless of personal circumstances.

Unfortunately in the eyes of the thaiz you are a tourist, you don't have a job here yet, and you are just here on a 30 day visa exempt entry that you have extended by 30 days already for 1900baht.
As long as your current stamp expired after the 26th of March you're covered on the "free-2-stay" until the 30th.
