Has anyone gotten their DTV from China?

I’ll be there for approximately one week and curious to know if that will be enough.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether a tourist can apply for a Thai DTV visa while visiting China. did you GO to the website of the thai consulate in the area of china where you'd be applying and SEE if you can apply for a DTV while you're just there as a tourist?

I could be mistaken but I thought they had it so you had to have a long term visa or stay for china to apply at any of the consulates there
