I got my DTV in Hanoi this month.

Lessons

1) if you have a suffix, add it after your last name

2) absolutely NO redacted information on your bank statements, they won’t accept ANY documents with redacted/blacked-out information

3) check your application status regularly because you might have to resubmit documents

3 months. My first application was rejected and then it was Chinese new year so there was a week on nothing, and when offices opened again, it had already became February (I was there Jan 18-Feb 8)

So I had to submit a 4th month (January) as October was no longer within the 3 month range

I assume they told you to resubmit the bank statements without redaction?
