The visa application form states that the application must include a photo copy of your passport. Is it necessary to photocopy every page? Or just the page with your personal info plus pages with any relevant entry/exit stamps? My father has an appointment at the embassy in Vientiane on Tuesday and will apply for a tourist visa (having arrived here in Thailand and receiving a 30 day visa exemption). Presumably having cleared immigration in Laos he will then need to photocopy the Laos visa page/entry stamp plus the exit stamp from Thailand? Many thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa at the embassy in Vientiane, the requirement for photocopying your passport can vary. Generally, you need to photocopy the data page of your passport and any relevant entry/exit stamps, such as your Laos visa/entry stamp and the exiting stamp from Thailand. However, some applicants reported that the embassy requested copies of every page of their passport. It's advisable to bring photocopies of both the required pages and any additional relevant pages to ensure you meet all possible requirements.
