Has anyone put the 500k baht in a joint savings pot and applied separately as a couple?

Worked for me. I had it in a joint account and they didn't give me any issues. They did ask for tax returns though so maybe that helped.

If its a joint account I believe you will need 1,000,000 regardless of if the pther account holder is applying at the same time/at all.
