Hi guys, I was wondering because in the official Thai site they say the 500.000k baht proof doesn’t need to been there in the account for months? Is that correct?
Answer summary
The requirement for showing 500,000 baht in a bank account for Thai visa applications varies by embassy and may not need to be maintained for 3-6 months as some sources suggest. It's recommended to check directly with the specific embassy for accurate guidelines and to ensure compliance with local requirements.

Yes also what I could read me to, that’s it’s different from embassy to embassy. You can recommend some Asian country’s there don’t need the 3-6 months? And thanks for the answers
Jonas Coronel nobody seems to need 6 months. Philippines requires 3. Hanoi does not. Laos does not.
Pick your embassy and write to them directly to ensure you know exactly what to expect. Or put the money in the bank for 3 months before applying. There is no point giving them an easy excuse to reject your application and keep your 10k fee
It all depends on where you want to apply for the DTV and if you qualify to apply in that country. Some require a couple of weeks and some require the full 3 months
