Hi, may I ask are there any universities still provide the papers to get ED Visa in BKK? Or any language schools can? I’m with my tourist visa right now and as my second option I’ll also consider to apply for ED visa to take Thai lessens for REAL.

And is it true Covid extention will end by 28 Jan?

TIA.🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about alternatives to obtain an ED visa for Thai language lessons while currently on a tourist visa, specifically if there are universities or language schools in Bangkok that can provide the necessary documentation. Additionally, they are asking about the end date for the COVID-19 visa extension, which is currently set for January 28. Responses in the comments suggest that there may be some language schools still operational, with personal recommendations and updates about immigration policies.

>Can have covid too

Yes, as long as they apply for it by January 28, 2021.

>ed

Yes... IF it's a formal school, OR one of the approved language centers (like Duke Language).

>valunteer

NO! Volunteer visas/ extension of stay based on volunteering are NOT being issued right now, and getting an under-the-table extension WILL CAUSE problems in the future.

I've seen it before. I've seen people who paid under the table, get a one year extension of stay, an auditor found out the immigration officer accepted a bribe, and they revoked the extension of stay retroactively. That person now is on a blacklist.

Bribing an immigration officer is illegal, and likewise getting an extension of stay via a bribe is also illegal. If a person does not meet the criteria for the extension of stay, and fake paperwork are generated, that is illegal. Because it is illegal, the person was caught, and blacklisted when he had to leave suddenly because of a family emergency back in the USA.

For the last time, *MOST* agents submit fake paperwork.

How about answering this question:

What paperwork is required for a real one year extension of stay based on being a volunteer for a Thai NGO?

Stupid to make a fake paper work that why still illegal and blacklist

And the only way to get a volunteer visa is through fake paperwork (assuming, of course, a person is not grandfathered in)

how do you know? You slander the staff or the foundation Is it too much of your bad experience to come from someone not all of them Maybe you are exaggerating That makes the image of the officer looked even worse.

No, I didn't slander anyone's foundation. I know someone with a valid, real, NGO. They want volunteers, and the immigration office where I live are saying "no" to the extension of stays.

I want to help them out.

You seem to know what paperwork is required to get a valid one year extension of stay based on being a volunteer.

What is the paperwork requirement to get a one year extension of stay based on being a volunteer? Can you answer that for me, so I can pass the information on to the people I know, so they can get the staff to help them out?

Please? Pretty please?

The documents they have are verified from the government. They are following the same process before the COVID-19 shutdown happened.

I understand from the people I talked to is that the local immigration offices are not issuing the one year extension of stay based on volunteering anymore at this time. All recent extension of stays based on being a volunteer I've seen are acquired from a visa agent, and the volunteer organization is located in the Isaan region. Everyone I talked to who has that extension of stay who got it from a visa agent can not tell me which "volunteer agency" they are technically volunteering for.
