There have been no changes to the Police Order that controls extensions of stays in thailand. It's still the one

Thai consulates sometimes make changes to their requirements to issue visas and I would tell the O/P to look on the website of the Thai consulate they are going to get a visa for thailand from to see what their requirements are..
