The 2 land border bounces that are 'allowed' in a year - that still true if I've had 2 TR visas (plus extensions) in the same year?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The rule of having 2 allowed land border entries per calendar year applies only to visa exempt entries. Entries made on tourist visas or extensions do not count against this limit. Therefore, having 2 TR visas plus extensions in the same year does not affect the land border bounce rule.
The two per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31) land border entries are VISA EXEMPT <- meaning you're entering without any visa by a land entry point ๐ .
ANY other entry doesn't count against the 2 you're allowed; not tourist visa entries, not visa exempt entries by air, not extensions on tourist visas or visa exempt entries..
sorry Tod just to clarify here. Is there any 'limit' or funny business at the port of entry when arriving by air. Your above comment suggests one is permitted two 'bounces' (by land) /year, but airport don't count.
Secondly, thanks for making clear the land border rule runs thought the calendar year.
