So as I understand it we can do 2 border bounces per calendar year. In practice though, what about the Lao border. I've never heard of anyone ever being denied entry there, under any circumstances. Can anyone advise on this? Thanks a lot...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses border bounce regulations for entering Thailand, particularly from Laos. It clarifies that travelers are allowed a maximum of two land border crossings into Thailand per calendar year under the visa exemption rule. Additionally, it notes that if one holds a valid Thai visa, there are no entry limitations at land borders.

FYI... I allowed this post to make CLEAR that you are ALLOWED a maximum of 2 LAND BORDER entries into Thailand VISA EXEMPT....

EACH CALENDAR YEAR.

IF you have a VALID THAI VISA issued to you, you can enter by land border crossing at will.

NO maximum NUMBER of ENTRIES.

You are allowed a maximum of 2 LAND BORDER BOUNCE crossing entries into Thailand EACH CALENDAR YEAR as Visa Exempt Entry... PERIOD !!!

It makes NO DIFFERENCE where the Land BORDER crossing is located ... Including the land borders in Laos...

It's a Max of 2... PERIOD !

Of Visa Exempt Entry.
