Hi. I am a doctor from Nepal. I am currently looking for options to be at the United States for my exam that I must attend before summer ends. The US embassy's here and the neighbouring countries are yet to re-operate B1/B2 visa after Covid restrictions. Is it possible for me to gain B1/ B2 visa from Thailand or some other countries?

Thank you very much for your answers!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Nepali doctor inquires about applying for a B1/B2 visa to the US to attend an exam, given the current restrictions and backlogs at embassies in Nepal and nearby countries. A commenter suggests finding a country with available appointment slots and contacting embassies directly for accurate information on visa applications.

There is huge backlog what I have heard from friends overall even for tourist visa. Your best bet is find a country with appointment slots that fits your deadline. However don't know what is open anywhere personally but would assume what you can or not do you need to query the embassies directly.
