Hi. I'm confused. I'm on a 1-year retirement extension issued INSIDE Thailand. Is this called Non-immigrant "O-A", or is it simply Non-immigrant "O"? (The stamp in my passport only says "Non-Imm", no letters.) Thanks for any advice!

Second try. First try was closed before I could note answer provided. Maybe this time Tod could help me please.

I want to buy a Re-Entry permit for my O-A non immigrant visa extension (I'm in my 2nd year)

I will get it at Jomtien Immigration. NOT at Swampy.

Can you please tell me all things I need to do so? I know it is 1000thb. Also days to avoid at Jomtien Immigration.

Headed back to OZ to try and get new O-A before 1 July when supposedly, maybe, new Mandatory Health Insurance is introduced. Hopefully it was just a brain fart and wont be however my age 70 plus means if it is made Law then I'm up shit creek in a barbed wire canoe.

Which means no new O-A visa and I return to LOS until August when my extension expires.

So recommendation please for type of visa to get in a nearby country that would see me through mid October when my condo lease ends.

After which I will head to the Phillippines.

I appreciate greatly how helpful this group has been for me.

Thank you.
