Hey guys, my prospective employer has advised me to apply for a Non-Immigrant (B) visa; I have browsed through the checklist for Malaysian applicants which I have attached. I have 3 questions -
1. Seems like the checklist does not include 'proof of employment' letters, can I confirm that 'proof of employment' letters are only needed to apply for work permit once I am already working in Thailand?
1. Is there a minimum monthly salary (THB) needed to work in Thailand legally? (I have read in a forum that it is 40k THB)
1. Aside from the checklist, what other documents are needed in advanced so I am able to prepare them ahead of time? (eg work permit application documents etc)
Have a great week ahead!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Malaysian applicant is seeking clarification on the requirements for a Non-Immigrant (B) visa for work in Thailand. They have questions regarding the necessity of employment proof letters, minimum salary requirements for legal employment, and additional documents needed beyond the provided checklist.
Noted; all my employer has informed me is that they would issue me a few documents to be submitted to the embassy; my employer has not asked me for any documents, does that sound strange to you?
My passport is Malaysian; and it seems like the required documents are pretty straightforward. I am just wondering in which stage do I need to provide proof of employment/medical certificate, would it be to apply for work permit?
