Denied 1 year extension of stay based on marriage because I only had tax record for 2 out of 3 previous months given that I left my old job and was not employed in September. Did however have all tax records for the previous 14 months including this october (just not September), and a letter from my current employer. Immigration told us on the phone that it would be fine if we had the letter and the previous year's tax records. Got there and they told us no.
