Hi I’m looking to apply from singapore. I’m mainly concerned about bank statements and job requirements.

1. I have most of my money in an investment account outside a bank, which I plan to transfer before applying. Do I need to show 3 months of bank statements or will the last statement be ok?

2. I have a registered business with negligible income. Can I be issued a visa under the self employed category? Will there be a document requirements to show income made by the business? I’m afraid the amount might be too low to be considered a salary if asked to show these documents.

Thanks so much!

Hello everyone, does anyone have experience with applying for work permit yourself after setting up a private ltd company? From what i read online it says that I need VAT Registration, Audited Financial Report etc which I dun have because my company is only a few months old. So am i able to apply for the work permit? Please advise. Thank You.

Hello 👋 Everyone!

I am interested in knowing your experience with opening a legit registered tutoring business in Thailand and the pros and cons to doing so.

My wife is a Thai teacher and I am a 46 year old Canadian. I’m sort of wondering if my wife were to open the business in her name and I worked for her and the business, could I get a work permit through the business?

Is this viable?

How difficult is this to do?

Thanks everyone for your POSITIVE input and useful negative feedback.

Cheers!

Hi all ! I am currently owning a home in Thailand. I want to stay here. I am looking for work in management in hospitality so I do not want to ask for a retirement Visa. My current plan is 60 day Visas + 30 extensions until I find work or decide to open a business etc Any thoughts ?
