TLDR : Answer Summary
The total cost to register a new company, along with obtaining a visa and work permit in Thailand, generally starts at around 20,000 to 30,000 THB for initial fees. An additional 10,000 to 15,000 THB is typically required for a one-year visa. For work permits, a minimum registered capital of 2 million THB is necessary for each permit, and there are associated costs for hiring Thai employees, generally requiring at least four employees on social security. Monthly accounting services can add another 20,000 to 30,000 THB.

There are different ways to set up a business, and they cost money, but in order to qualify for a work permit you must have at least bt2million in registered capital for each work permit. Some business structures require at least 4 Thai employees that you pay social security on, but some don't. Your attorney can give you your options. Also, accounting is a restricted occupation, meaning you can not do your own accounting, as a number of documents you file regularly have to be signed by a licensed accountant, and that accountant must be Thai, except in instances of random internal audits. Part time that will cost you about bt20,000-bt30,000 a month. Those are the required expenses you can not avoid.

If you have a serious business idea and plan then the costs are fine but if all your looking for is a means to stay in Thailand your probably better looking at other options such as Elite
