Hi everyone, great group for info here so first off thanks for allowing me to join 😊

My wife (Thai) is already in Thailand and in July/August my kids and I will join her to stay in Thailand for a couple of years.

I was planning on just entering on a 30 day visa exempt and then sorting out something more permanent when I'm there, but it may be less hassle to sort a suitable visa first from here in England.

My kids have Thai passports so they are sorted but which visa would you guys recommend I get?

I don't need to work in Thailand and I could put 400k Baht in my Bangkok Bank account now if that will help matters when I'm in Thailand?

I have been reading through the info on the Thai embassy website but knowing my luck I'll make a mess of it 😉
